Jay-Z Raises 1 Million for Charity

This past Thursday, Jay-Z held a carnival-themed fundraiser (fittingly titled Making The Ordinary Extraordinary) at New York’s Pier 54 for his Shawn Carter Foundation. With Alex Rodriguez, C.C. Sabathia, Questlove, Beyonce and more in attendance (and tickets priced at $1,000 each); the event was able to raise $1 million to help fund college scholarships for underprivileged kids.
