"The Lemar and Dauley Xander.The muse for the Summer 2009 Lemar and Dauley Xander was racquet sports—inspiration was pulled from tennis and the equipments used. The tennis racquet became a source of inspiration, along with both the clay and grass courts that are used as the playing field. Special attention to detail led to the utilization of a mesh material on the side panels and tongue of the Xander as a reflection of the interlocking strings used within the racquet.
